Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Football County Semi Finals

Below please find schedule for upcoming semi-finals in Castlebar. As you will note some results are still outstanding and I will notify you of those as soon as they are made known to me. Your contact for the day will be Billy McNicholas who may be contacted at 0872497407.

We will be providing a photographer each day, so make sure you get a team photograph taken before each game. These will be required for the match day programmes on finals day. Unfortunately, it is necessary to procure parental consent in respect of the photographs (GDPR) and the onus is on each school to procure this consent and ensure that only children in respect of whom consent has been obtained are included in the photographs. All participating schools have been sent an email with a consent form n the event that your school has not already obtained parental consent to photography and use of photographs.

We also require a brief synopsis from each school of their team (numbered as appearing on the day), an outline of their participation in the competition and any other relevant information regarding the team or its school. We will need this from EACH team as soon as possible AND NO LATER THAN 6.00PM TUESDAY EVENING 22ND MAY. These paragraphs MUST be emailed to JAMES FEENEY at jamesfeeney@hotmail.com. We are asking all of you to submit the paragraphs eventhough only the qualifying teams will be included in the programme for the finals being played on Monday 28th May and 7th June but we must receive the information as quickly as possible in order to have the programmes drafted and printed on time for the finals.

We also remind you all to respect the decisions made by referees who are fully entitled to ask a player, parent or teacher to leave the pitch should they consider it appropriate. No one is permitted behind the goals. No gum-shield, no game.

Finally please return all trophies to myself, Neil Reilly, Billy McNicholas or James Feeney as soon as possible. I am happy to meet with anyone in and around the Castlebar area to facilitate collection of trophies.(087 1318795).
