INTO/Cumann na mBunscol Mini 7s Football Finals 2018

One of the biggest days of the Cumann na mBunscol calendar is upon us again as schools from all corners of Mayo descend upon the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence for the INTO Mini 7s Football Finals.
The girls will get proceedings underway at 11am, while the boys’ semi-finals throw in at 11:30am. The girls’ final will take place at 12pm while the boys’ decider will begin at 12:30pm.
Friday April 27th – Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence
Girls’ semi finals: Throw in 11.00 am
Pitch 1 – St Attracta’s, Ballaghaderreen v Newport
Pitch 2 – Gaelscoil de Burca v The Quay NS ( Ballina)
Girls’ Final to throw in at 12.00pm
Boys’ semi finals: Throw in 11.30 am
Pitch 1 – Ballyvary v Craggagh/Straide
Pitch 2 – Claremorris BNS v The Quay NS (Ballina)
Boys’ Final to throw in at 12.30pm
Games are 7 mins a half. If a game ends in a draw a further 2 mins a half of extra time is to be played. If still even after extra time a further 2 mins a half is to be played until we have a winner.
The game is likely to be played on astro turf so you might want to keep this in mind when choosing footwear. Don’t forget gumshields.
All kickouts/frees/45s can be taken from the hand.
