Congratulations to Breaffy, Castlebar on retaining their quiz title with superb answering to secure a winning score of 57 out of 60 correct answers. An extraordinary standard given the difficulty of many of the questions. They were closely followed by St. Pat’s B.N.S. Castlebar, with Dooagh N.S. coming all the way from Achill to give an excellent account of themselves in 3rd place.  Our thanks to all the teachers who gave of their time to prepare their teams and also help out on the day. Our thanks to The Welcome Inn for their facilities, as ever and finally to Quizmaster Seán Mac Éil for delivering the questions. Our local sports quizzes will return next winter and our county quiz will be around the same time again in 2016 so get your thinking caps on and start memorizing those sporting facts!
